This was an amazing soup recipe. I cooked it last night and it was very good. Instead of using a 7-ounce can of chopped green chiles, 1 jalapeno, and 1/4 cup cilantro, I substituted a 7-ounce can of Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies with Lime and Cilantro. I served tortilla chips on the side. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

This is a really, really flavorful and delicious soup! Everything I love about Mexican food in a soup, now I am a soup lover! 🙂 Love the homemade tortilla strips as they add some nice texture and another level of flavor to this already an extremely flavorful meal in a bowl. Love that it will taste just as good or maybe even better coming out of the fridge. Well done MH, well done!
