I NEVER leave reviews and I just have to for these! Made them for Valentine's Day for my fiance and we both absolutely ADORED them! About an hour in the fridge and a few extra chocolate chips and it was heaven in every bite

My new favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe! Perfect every time, and no machine required. I have made it several times now, and today made them gluten free (used bobs red mill one to one) and dairy free (used earth balance) and they were just as good. Fabulous recipe, thanks!!

I love reading recipes, and especially reader comments about recipes, but rarely add one of my own. Thank you, Melissa, for my new “go to” chocolate chip cookie recipe, perfect for everyone, including home cooks (like me) who don’t own stand mixers. Your recipe was very easy and satisfying to make; I refrigerated the dough for 12 hours. I appreciated your using two chocolate chip flavors and that your cookies have a different and very pleasing texture from other chocolate chip cookies I’ve made.

Made this for Christmas and it’s the first thing that was finished, fantastic and easy recipe. I left it in the fridge for 48 hours and came out great. Thank you for sharing

Best recipe I’ve found so far! Minimal dishes & turns out perfect every time! I usually make the dough a day ahead and bake the next day. Also use chocolate chunks and put a sprinkle of flakey sea salt on top directly out of the oven. Perfection!

PLEASE put “rest of the world” measurements in gm/kg or oz/lb also temperature in gas mark and centigrade. I’m English & I live in France so always have this hic on USA recipes & generally give up & find one that is comprehensible. Sorry, but “cups” are non-existent in Europe & totally inaccurate – we use digital scales!

These are my go-to cookies because they are so easy and so good. I whip them up in just a few minutes, put the dough in the refrigerator until I’m craving a warm cookie or my grandkids come over. It is the best and only one bowl. Thank you Modern Honey!
