In reply to Pan Ayers. Hi there! If you want to fill the muffin tin almost to the top, you will end up with 9 total. If you fill it up about 2/3 full, you will end up with 12 total. It should be about 1/4-1/3 cup of batter per muffin tin. I hope this helps!

Hi,
I am going to make these in a few hours. What a fantastic idea.
Would you please help me with a few questions?
How much batter do you place in each muffin cup?
Can the salt be omitted and the Dutch baby still cook correctly? I know the taste will be different. I have a no salt dietary restriction.
